Being a member also gives you the opportunity to enjoy the breed with others who treasure it like you do. We don't fear the breed, and we're always trying to change the image the media has given the APBT and us as owners. It gives us one larger group voice when concerns come up like Breed Specific Legislation, and outright bans. We have shown force in council meetings dispelling the myths and teaching those that make the decisions about the true loving nature of our dogs.

And then there's the fun!! Meetings are rather informal get-togethers while business is discussed. The annual show, yes it's alot of work, and we need everyone's help! But there's the evenings afterwards to relax and visit with others that you usually don't see other than at shows.

All in all, it's some hard work mixed with alot of socialization and fun!
