Who We Are

The Golden Horseshoe APBTC was formed back in September 1999 in an effort to bring an ADBSI sanctioned show closer to home. Eleven people gathered together for an initial meeting. Unfortunately, we found that there aren't many purebred APBT owners here in Ontario Canada that are interested in showing their dogs. We pushed forward anyhow and after taking some time to garner our sanctioning, we are pleased to be celebrating our 9th year as a club!

Many of our members have been involved with the breed type while doing rescue work and later on with the purebreds for numerous years and thus collectively as a club we have the ability to lend guidance both to the new owner or show fancier.

Each year we host our conformation and weight pull point shows in the US for ease of our attendees. We are also pleased to be invited back year after year for an educational booth at the Toronto Sportsmens' Show.
